I have multiple cameras, some are offline and some are online
If you have multiple cameras some of which are online and some of which are offline, this may be caused by a few different reasons:
1. If the cameras which are offline are the furthest away from your router, they may be too far away to be getting a good signal. We suggest either moving them closer to your router or using a Wi-Fi extender to improve your signal strength.
2. Check your bandwidth usage, you may not have sufficient bandwidth to support the number of cameras you have. In that case, please contact your internet provider to find out how to increase your bandwidth.
3. After you are able to get the cameras which are offline back online, check to make sure their firmware is up to date. Making sure to run the most current firmware helps keep the cameras online.
To get the cameras back online:
Unplug the camera's power adapter from the wall and then wait for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, plug in the camera's power, adapter making sure that it is plugged all the way in and there is power to the outlet. The bottom light, which indicates power should turn green immediately, but it may take another 2 minutes for the middle light to turn green and for the camera to show online.
If the camera still shows offline, you need to do full reset of the Modem, Router and all of your cameras by setting them up again, just like you did when you first purchased them but using your already created user name.
