Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting when trying to set up my Camera
If your Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting while trying to set up your first Imogen Studio camera, follow these steps:
1. Move your camera closer to your router ( preferably in the same room)
2. Reset your router
3. After your router has been reset, connect your mobile device to your Wi-Fi and make sure you have a strong signal before continuing set up.
4. If your Wi-Fi still keeps disconnecting while you are trying to set up, this issue may be caused by a setting on your Android device.
Follow these steps to disable the setting that is causing your Android device to keep disconnecting from the internet when trying to set up your Imogen Studio Camera:
Go to your phone’s Settings option and open the settings menu:
Press the Wi-Fi Settings option.
Open the "Advance Wi-Fi Setting"s option. Follow the below instructions based on your device model.
For the LG G2:
Go to the "Advance Wi-Fi Settings" option by pressing the menu image icon on the bottom right corner of the screen then press Advanced Wi-Fi.
You will now be able to disable the "Internet Unavailable" option by un checking the check box beside and pressing "ok" at the bottom of the app to save your changes.
Nexus 4, Moto X, and Droid Mini (These models work the same way):
Go to the "Advance Wi-Fi Settings" option by pressing the menu icon, which is located on the bottom right corner of the screen then press "Advanced".
Uncheck the the check box beside the "Avoid poor connections" option to disable it. Then press "ok" to save your changes
Samsung Note 3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 mini, and Galaxy Mega: (These models work the same way):
Go to the Advance Wi-Fi Settings option by pressing the menu icon, which is located in the bottom left corner of the phone then pressing "Advanced."
Uncheck the "Auto network" switch option by un checking the check box beside it. Then press "ok" to save your changes
If you have a different model Android Device not listed here and are having problems staying connected to your Wi-Fi network during set up, please go to the Advanced wi-Fi Settings menu, like listed here, and see if there is a setting turned on that is making it difficult for your phone to stay connected to your Wi-Fi during the set up process.
